A sketch of the Architecture of Consciousness as I see it

Some definitions:

Consciousness - The fundamental medium of existence, the space where the inner and outer worlds meet.
It is both container and process: the capacity through which existence experiences itself as a continuous being. Within consciousness, the field of awareness unfolds as its living landscape, while awareness moves within that field as the focal point of perception. Consciousness holds all potential experience; awareness actualises it. Its movements - expansion, contraction, fragmentation, and integration — reflect the ongoing dialogue between Love (cohesion) and Truth (clarity), the twin forces that maintain coherence within the whole. Consciousness as the medium through which existence experiences itself as a continuous being. What seem like separate experiences are simply the changing contours of one unbroken movement. Feeling as the first language of that movement; thought, its structural echo.

Awareness - The perceptive function of consciousness, the faculty through which experience becomes known. It is the active point of observation moving through the field of awareness, illuminating aspects of experience and translating them into meaning. Awareness navigates between inner and outer data — between feeling and perception - and its quality determines how coherently consciousness can register reality. As awareness expands, it integrates more of the field into coherence; as it contracts, perception narrows and fragmentation increases. In this sense, awareness is both the eye of consciousness and the bridge between unformed potential and realised experience.

Field of Awareness - The total experiential space of consciousness. It contains both the internal flow of sensations and emotions, and the external environment as it is perceived. The field expands through exposure (sensory experience), interaction (relationship), and reflection (integration). Awareness moves within it, translating potential into lived experience.

Love and Truth are heavily featured because in my view they are the two necessary and reciprocal forces that govern coherence: Truth exposes the necessary architecture (the logic). Love provides the cohesion to hold that architecture (the binding). Fragmentation is the direct result of their decoupling, for Truth without Love is Cruelty, and Love without Truth is Delusion.

Truth = The inherent organizing principle of consciousness that necessitates the inclusion and accurate representation of all parts (light and shadow/inner and outer) into a single, comprehensive, and logical architecture. Truth is What Is, exposed without denial or judgment. It is the raw data of reality, regardless of comfort.

Love = The binding force that accepts the full spectrum revealed by Truth, maintaining the unity and integrity of the whole system. It is the energetic field that prevents fragmentation. Love is the Unifying Field, the unconditional acceptance required to hold the inherent complexity and paradox of Truth together;

Love as a Spectrum = I think Love is not fixed and can appear as Fear, without it being Fear in nature. I also believe its value and strength exists on a spectrum that goes from -infinity to +infinity, where -infinity is devoid of Light.

Truth as a Spectrum = its spectrum is measured by how much data is successfully included and how accurately the relationships between those parts are mapped.

Fear – the energetic contraction that occurs when awareness resists inclusion. It is the structural signature of incoherence: Love withheld and Truth refused. Denial, trauma, and avoidance are derivatives of this contraction, each a mechanism by which consciousness attempts to preserve limited coherence through exclusion rather than integration. Healing, therefore, is not the removal of fear, but the reintegration of what fear has separated.

Feeling and Thought – Feeling is the unstructured movement of consciousness; thought is the structure awareness imposes upon that movement. When a feeling is observed and interpreted, the act of meaning-making reorganises its energetic texture. The initial vibration becomes refined, diffused, or amplified depending on the accuracy and coherence of the interpretation. Thus, consciousness is not a passive field but a self-adjusting system in which reflection continuously alters the state of what is reflected upon.

Resonance: Resonance is the dynamic correspondence between patterns of consciousness - the degree to which one field of experience vibrates in structural harmony with another. It's not sameness, and not attraction by magic. It's mutual alignment of structure and tone across layers of reality - inner states, relationships, collective moods, etc.

Agency - the dynamic correspondence between internal and external patterns of consciousness. Each individual carries a signature configuration of feeling, thought, and awareness that continuously interacts with its environment. Through resonance, consciousness maintains identity across time and exchanges information with the collective field. It is not mechanical attraction but participatory alignment - an ongoing dialogue between self and world, guided by awareness and choice.

Agency inside resonance Without agency, resonance becomes fatalistic ("I attract what I am"). With agency, it becomes participatory: Consciousness continually emits a signature pattern - a blend of feeling (frequency), thought (structure), and choice (direction). The environment reflects it back, offering feedback. Through awareness, one can tune the pattern: amplifying coherence, softening distortions, or redirecting expression. Thus resonance is not destiny; it is dialogue. So agency lives in how one participates in resonance - through attention, interpretation, and intentional adjustment. You can't stop resonance, but you can influence its shape and the quality of matches you sustain.

Resonant Feedback and Coherence – Each node of consciousness emits a pattern reflective of its current structure – its blend of feeling, thought, and awareness. The field responds with experiences that mirror, complement, or challenge that pattern, providing the friction necessary for evolution. When incoherence accumulates, resonance draws conditions that expose it: conflict, chaos, or loss appear not as punishment but as feedback. Through contrast, consciousness perceives its distortions and moves toward greater alignment. In this sense, resonance is not moral law or destiny, but the self-corrective intelligence of a living system seeking coherence.

1. Consciousness as fundamental reality - I see consciousness as the primary field out of which all experience arises, rather than a by-product of the brain. I believe the brain is ultimately a manifestation of consciousness, and merely a filter through which consciousness can be currently observed. Matter, mind, and emotion are expressions within consciousness, not sources of it.

2. Consciousness as fluid but coherent. - It flows, folds, expands, stagnates, and contracts, but always retains an underlying order or logic. It has the capacity to adapt to environment and circumstance without losing its essential identity even at its most contracted state.

3. Consciousness as self-observing — It can reflect on itself from both within and without, seeing its own movements. At times I have sensed awareness turning back on itself - an ever-widening feedback loop in which perception recognises its own operation. This loop between observer and observed is the mechanism by which awareness refines itself and reorganises what is salient within the field.

4. Consciousness as unified through love and truth - Love and truth aren't moral ideals here; they're the organizing principles that restore coherence. When distortion or fragmentation occurs (through trauma, fear, denial), returning to love and truth re-aligns the field. Love and truth are not moral virtues but the binding forces of consciousness - its physics. Truth aligns perception with what is. Love maintains coherence between all parts. Together, they hold the field of awareness in integrity. Where either is absent, distortion appears.

5. Consciousness as embodied experience. - Understanding isn't real until the mind and feeling meet in the body. Pure intellect or pure emotion alone remain partial; integration happens through the lived organism. Intellect alone produces abstraction; feeling alone produces chaos. Knowledge becomes wisdom only when mind and heart operate as one.

6. Consciousness as creative agency. - Feelings (frequency) and thoughts (as architecture of feelings) are the direct medium through which reality is co-shaped. The quality of one's internal emotional resonance—acting as a gravitational field for external experiences - determines the Structural Potential of future reality. The more aware one becomes of their emotional progression and structural alignment, the more deliberately they can influence the resulting vibrational match in the external world. The quality of one's internal resonance pattern -the organized interplay of feeling (frequency), thought (structure), and awareness (focus) - shapes the configurations one tends to select and sustain in the external world.

7. Consciousness as continuous expansion. - It naturally seeks to include more of itself - through self-knowledge, empathy, or awakening experiences. Suppression or contraction are temporary adjustments, not true diminishment.

8. Consciousness as a Self-Integrating Organism - Consciousness is not a static container but a living, self-correcting organism. It naturally seeks coherence and wholeness. Fragmentation doesn't erase consciousness; it differentiates it. Fragmentation and distortion arise when love or truth are withheld; reintegration occurs when they are restored. By observing itself from both within and without, consciousness can map its own distortions and reconstruct coherence - even in the absence of external reflection. This process is evolutionary, not hierarchical - a continuous, self-healing movement toward alignment.

9. Time, Memory, and Continuity - Time is not linear motion but a movement through consciousness. Continuity of identity is maintained by resonance - self-recognition across states. Past, present, and future are folds of the same field seen from different points of self-awareness. Resonance is therefore the thread of continuity through time. What seems like past or future is simply consciousness encountering its own pattern from different vantage points. Precognition, déjà vu, or repeating life motifs may all be expressions of this same mechanism - consciousness mapping its own echoes until the pattern integrates.

10. Individual–Collective Reciprocity (the Collective Resonance Principle) - Each individual consciousness is both distinct and permeable - a node in the greater field with a distinct pattern signature. Distortions within one node affect the collective atmosphere. Integration within one node clarifies and harmonizes the field for all. Thus, personal healing is collective service; collective distortion is personal weight. Morality is redefined as energetic hygiene: the quality of one's participation in shared consciousness. In this way, consciousness behaves fractally - each individual field mirrors the collective whole. Each node's coherence shapes the field around it: integration within one consciousness clarifies resonance for all, while fragmentation amplifies collective distortion. Wars, collapses, and social upheavals can be seen as large-scale "Destructive Reorganizations," mirroring the micro-dynamics of personal misalignment when Love and Truth fall out of balance.

I guess I ultimately see reality as the architecture through which consciousness expresses itself -a living structure whose coherence depends on Love and Truth.

Absolute Coherence (Reality as Consciousness) When consciousness attains perfect coherence — the complete coupling of Love (cohesion) and Truth (clarity) — the distinction between perceiver and perceived dissolves. Reality is no longer experienced as something external to consciousness but as consciousness itself in stable, transparent expression. In this state, perception carries perfect fidelity to What Is: no distortion, no separation, only direct self-recognition. The inner and outer, thought and matter, observer and observed, merge into a single self-reflective continuum — consciousness fully aware of itself as the substance and structure of reality. At the macro level, this represents the absolute: reality and consciousness are indistinguishable, two terms for the same living field seen from within and without. All that exists is consciousness perceiving itself through infinite configurations of coherence. What is precognition? I do not see it as a psychic power, but as a form of systems thinking applied to probable emotional progressions. Why emotional progressions? Because a feeling carries a greater density of information than a thought. It therefore requires more time to be fully processed, understood, and integrated into the narrative self. A single feeling may unfold through several thoughts that attempt to give it structure - the coherence of that structure depending on the quality and stability of awareness itself. The clearer the awareness, the more accurately thought can translate feeling into meaning. In this sense, emotional processing is the gradual translation of dense, felt data into organised understanding, modulated by the awareness through which it is perceived. All feelings triggered within ourselves must eventually be processed, understood, and integrated. This can happen in various ways which I believe to be dependent on how individual/collective consciousness engages with Love and Truth. Why can society be chaotic? In my view it is because Expansion (Truth) is not being matched by Care (Love and Coherence), making the system unsustainable and prone to Destructive Reorganization (wars, collapse, and other forms of collective fragmentation).

This is solely my view at this moment in time, a view that is constantly evolving alongside my ability to articulate it. While this is the case, so far I found the model flexible enough to absorb new data without it losing coherence. I also found it equally coherent on both a micro (individual) and macro (collective) scale. This being said, there may be details I lost out of sight in making these assessments, and I may be employing a distorted perception.

My purpose in taking the energy to write all of this is to articulate the framework I believe bridges the gap between reason and my seemingly 'irrational' set of anomalous experiences. I think I could easily write an entire thesis on the subject, which would require further research on my part, but this is the best I can offer at this moment in time. I am trying to weave together the established knowledge I'm familiar with and my own experiential observations, and to express it all as coherently as possible. Given the complexity of the subject matter, it wouldn't be feasible to expect this to be perfect in every detail.

The rest of this site is the central part of my experience. It does include plenty of embarrassing details, but I believe I can detach myself from the embarrassment. At the end of the day those embarrassing details are simply human. While I am not fond of exposing myself, I find that all the embarrassing details are essential in preserving the coherence in my story. I hope that in doing so I will make it visible that this is simply the truth of my lived experience. I think that in, maybe, exposing truth the magic will disperse, and paradoxically the existence of magic may be exposed. I believe it's precisely the humanness of my story that give it strength and shine. By exposing the vulnerable, human elements of my experience, I hope the underlying "magic" - the existence of a deep, operating architecture - will become visible.

While I did my best to articulate it all, the written version of my story and experience is still a work in progress. I am coming from somewhat of a vacuum of accurate terminology, and I am incorporating information as I go. Since this is only my third attempt at expressing it in writing, my manner of articulating it will hopefully evolve to a more integrative format. My story, and my perception keep transforming and evolving, as I keep processing, integrating and trying to heal.
