Concept update

The texts in this section are obviously incomplete, as while the field has remained cohesion+differentiation, integration has become the operation of cohesion which has always struck me as being the case, and articulation the operation of differentiation with experience as their coupling. 

It is a touch whiteheadian, and while I don't have what I would define adequate knowledge of process philosophy, based on what I currently know I would equate my understanding of experience with his occasion. The closest equivalent to my articulation would possibly be his event, and integration might be his concresence... Something along these lines. It's mappable. 

Cohesion+differentiation as field = existence, and integration+articulation=experience. 

I am also obviously interested in phenomenology, but I take it phenomenology itself moved towards process philosophy. Hegel sounds interesting, and my axes of contrast are similar to his determinate negation. Eliade's Sacred and Profane reminds me of how I mapped spiritual philosophical structures.

I believe Socrates was correct, and knowledge of virtue is virtue, because knowledge has to be integrated before it can count as knowledge. It is integration that organises behavior and flows habitually, and not habituation that makes for virtuous behavior. Unintegrated knowledge of virtue has the potential of not being truly aligned with virtue. 

I am also looking into the purpose of language, because it is related to articulation, and phenomenologically it helped me calibrate consciousness towards Reality, so philosophy of language is interesting for this reason. I felt pulled towards Wittgenstein, because language should express reality, but and it's not that it's impossible, but that we are not willing to reckon with our individual limitations of our knowledge of reality. 

Mapping onto the field is a time and energy consuming process though, but as a sketch whatever is in this section still has some pertinence. 

I am obviously aiming towards normative ethics, because duuuhh. Love+Truth. My affinity towards political philosophy might be contingent to my love for ethics. 

Oh and reading philosophy as a woman...I keep making notes related to patriarchal structures of reasoning. I want to nail the whole philosophy of mind I've read so far to a wall and throw knives at it. Ridiculous.
