Terms & Concepts

Existential - deals with navigation of being/Self through existence, where life is subordinate to, and nested in existence; Self-in-reality: identity, integrity, and orientation under high-stakes axes.

Experiential axes/Axes of contrast - consciousness navigates on experiential axes: reach/don't reach, speak/don't speak, engage/withdraw, stay/leave, safe/unsafe, fair/unfair, care/indifference, love/hate, self/other, hungry/satiated etc.; they can be both first-order life navigation related contrasts or recruited into existential navigation contrasts.

Archetypal axes - culturally transmitted and individually instantiated symbolic macro-compressions of multiple first-order experiential axes; they are existential in nature because they organise Self-in-Reality under survival relevant conditions; they become archetypal because they stabilise across time and across many consciousness nodes, so they present with heavy shared symbols.

Ex. In my case God-Devil was the carrier axis of all others: Love-Fear - compression of relational experiential axes; Light-Dark - compression of coherence - incoherence (psychological integrity vs psychological rupture) preserving experiential axes; Trust-Control; Safe-Unsafe; Fair-Unfair; etc. were nested within it.

Stabilised Affective-Cognitive Experiential Pattern - a recurrent configuration in which affective registration and cognitive structuring have settled into a repeatable form; stabilised through repetition whether coherent or incoherent.

Coherent Affective-Cognitive Experiential Pattern - the coherent integrated subtype of a stabilised experiential pattern: affect registers, cognition differentiates and articulates without distortion and the movement alongside axes is coherent.

Foundational

Consciousness - the living medium; the field of potential; the "held" space; the "terrain" of what is.

Reality - the differentiated structure of the field; the "map" of what is.

Experience - the interaction between Consciousness - the medium, and the structure - Reality; the integration of the hold and the distinction.

Absolute - the state in which Consciousness, Reality, and Experience are one inseparable and coherent movement; Consciousness ≵ Reality ≵ Experience; Consciousness ↔ Reality ↔ Experience; Inseparable, yet differentiated expressions.

Node of Consciousness - usually used to refer to human consciousness, but it widely refers to any embodied form or structure.

Symbols

God - expression of absolute coherence; how the alignment between Consciousness and Reality registers/interpreted within a node of consciousness.

Devil - expression of absolute incoherence; structural rupture and reality inversion (distortion); self/other erasure-pressure.

Light - a state of being; internal openness; the felt texture of coherence.

Dark - the felt texture of incoherence.

Principles

Love - cohesive in nature; coherence preserving relation (truthful, non-erasing of Self and Other at the same time); simultaneously within and without.

Truth - differentiation in principle; coherence preserving structure; coordinate loyal, non-imposing onto the field; non-distorting articulation of what is, simultaneously within and without.

Fear - protective contraction; can serve or corrupt Love depending on whether or not Truth is present.
